CASIO engaged Zephyr to roll out a 12 month digital growth strategy tailored to the Australia market, as a precursor to a major Shopify+ migration for the entire suite of brands – including G-SHOCK. As a global leader in both electronics and fashion, the CASIO portfolio sees annual revenues of $200m+ across each major brand. Our role was to ensure technical excellence during the transition, while laying the groundwork for performance growth across digital channels.

THE CHALLENGE

Assisting with migrating a high-traffic, multi-brand ecosystem to Shopify+ came with two critical challenges.

  • Preserving SEO equity across a large volume of pages and search authority
  • Maintaining tracking and data accuracy – protecting both paid media performance and organic search insight continuity. In parallel, we had to manage differing internal goals across CASIO’s varied brand portfolio – from mature market leaders like G-SHOCK to newer entrants in growth mode – all while working within the strict creative and compliance boundaries defined by CASIO’s global HQ.

THE OUTCOME

The Shopify+ migration was executed with next to zero data loss and successful SEO retention, ensuring traffic and performance remained strong post-launch. Our digital strategy rollout supports both sustained growth for flagship brands and successful go-to-market plans for emerging product lines. Paid media was deployed efficiently at scale, while organic traffic steadily grew on the new AU Shopify+ environment. Throughout, we helped CASIO maintain its leadership position in a hyper-competitive category.
